This is a reflection of the breadth in the content—with articles discussing graphics, data management, statistics, reporting, and many other topics—and of the range of disciplines represented.
The Journal Citation Reports ranks the Stata Journal consistently in the top 20 among journals in the Social Sciences, Mathematical Methods category in terms of citations, impact factor, and five-year impact factor.
The Stata Journal achieved its highest impact factor ever: 4.450. The Stata Journal is ranked 9 out of 53 in the Social Sciences, Mathematical Methods category and 10 out of 125 in Statistics and Probability.
The Journal has a five-year impact factor of 5.880, ranking 6 out of 53 in the Social Sciences, Mathematical Methods category and 7 out of 125 in Statistics and Probability.
